Cable TV

Cable TV, the operator would use local HFC (DVB-C) to transmit the pay-tv channels to the final subscribers.

In Cable TV:

1. The operator would use CAS to scramble the pay-tv channels
2. The final subscriber would use DVB-C STB to receive the pay-tv channels
3. The operator would use SMS to manage and control the entitlement.

In Cable TV, after digitalized, there would have many frequency available in HFC network. The operator could use these frequencies to have many other value-added services (VAS), such PUSH-VOD, VOD, Game, On-line Education, etc.
